Home › Summer, lakes and trails

Summer in Whistler is lake swims, bike trails and a packed events calendar. The same valley that fills with skiers in January fills with riders, hikers and paddlers by July.

Valley Trail

The Valley Trail is a paved, shared-use network of more than 50 km that links the Village and neighbourhoods. About 38 km is maintained in winter. It is the easiest way to see the town on foot or by bike.

Whistler Blackcomb in summer

The Bike Park (2026 season opened May 15) lists 158 trails. Summer sightseeing and the Peak 2 Peak ran weekends to June 12 and daily from June 13 in 2026. The 2027 dates were not yet published when we checked.
